October 28, 2009- The evening was cool and the wind blew hard. Fans in the stands huddled together and covered themselves in blankets.
But.... for the Vista Del Lago High School Soccer Squad, the pitch at Oak Ridge High School was anything but chilly. They brought on the heat within the first 20 minutes and scored their first of many goals landing them a victory over rival Oak Ridge 6-2.
Vista's record this season (22-2) earned them the title of League Champions. Their final match of the season against Galt will be played at home Friday at 6PM.
